Its getting closer! Christmas Card is finally ordered!!

Well, its Friday night and its done!  Whew!  It always takes me so long to create my Christmas cards.  Each year there are so many more options and choices to use.  I created about 7 cards, showed them to my family made a few changes to the two they liked and we finally decided on the one below.

What do you think?  I am very happy about it!

Next up.....decorating!  The house is cleaned and the boxes are down from the attic.

Oh Choices, Choice, Choices....that time of year again!!

Well, its that time of year again!  Time to select and design my annual family Christmas card.  Each year I spend hours painstakingly deciding how my family card should look.  As an avid family photographer, I take many pictures throughout the year.  So, come November, I go through thousands of jpeg files narrowing down my choices.  This year, luckily, we attended a family wedding, so there actually are pictures that I appear in!  I have narrowed down my choices of photos to less than a dozen, and now......on to my next daunting task.

There are many sites out there selling photo holiday cards, but year after year, i do return to one site consistently.  Shutterfly!  I have tried other sites, but the quality isn't always as good, or i am disappointed somehow in my choice.  To start, this year they seem to have MANY options.  Their endless list of christmas cards are at http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery   One new category I have never seen before is their thanksgiving cards   http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/thanksgiving-cards . These are wonderful as well, but i have a hard enough time choosing Christmas cards, i don't think I'll have enough time for those!

One of my favorites is the Holly Frame 5 x 7 folded card, but may be a little too expensive for my pocketbook, though it is such a classy background.

Another of my faves is the "Our Ornament Story" a 5 X 7 stationery card which combines your pictures and a minimized newsletter all in one.

My favorite basic card this year has to be simply called "Merry Christmas" Christmas 5 x 7 photo card.

Now that I have narrowed down my choices you may need to head over there yourself and pick some out for yourself.  Hurry they are giving 20% off all holiday cards right now! http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery
And while you're their you can pick out some Christmas address labels http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-address-labels as well.  There are some very cute ones to choose!
